This life jacket is built with a durable aluminized Panotex silver wipe-clean cover, tested to EN 348 (as per EN 470/1) for impact against molten metal drops during welding. The cover also meets EN 367 (per EN 531 level B1) for convective heat, EN 366 (per EN 531 level C3) for radiant heat, and EN 373 (per EN 531 levels D2 and E3) for molten aluminum and molten iron splash protection. All straps and the waist belt are constructed from FR AST webbing, extending flame resistance across every point of contact.
Lightweight, Adjustable Comfort with Secure Fastening
The jacket is lightweight and comfortable to wear, with a touch and close fastening cover that allows quick, secure donning over work gear. An adjustable waist belt and detachable crutch strap let workers fine-tune fit, while interlock FR AST buckles keep the jacket secure during movement. An integrated deck safety harness, approved to EN ISO 12401, adds fall protection for work performed near water or at height.
275N Buoyancy with CE-Certified Inflation System
The single-chamber bladder inflates via a 60g CO2 gas cylinder inflation system, with an oral inflation tube available as backup. SOLAS-approved retro-reflective tape on the bladder improves visibility in the water, and a red recovery grab strap marked "LIFT" assists rescue teams during recovery. The jacket is CE certified and meets EN ISO 12402-2:2020 and EN ISO 12402-6:2020 for inflatable lifejackets at performance level 275, along with EN ISO 12401:2009 for the integrated harness.
